Three Friends Turned Business Partners Open Window Genie Franchise in Malvern

Window Genie announces the grand opening of its newest location in Malvern on September 19th. Window Genie is a national home service franchise specializing in residential and light commercial window cleaning, window tinting, pressure washing, gutter cleaning and more. Window Genie of Malvern will service the west Philadelphia communities along the main line, spanning route 30 from Downingtown to Bryn Mawr. Three local colleagues turned friends will partner to own and operate the home service franchise that spans a service area of almost 200,000 households.

One owner, Matt Krueger, is no stranger to business ownership. Before he spent 13 years with Victory Brewing Company, most recently serving as their VP, Krueger owned his own restaurant for 3 years. Tom Kent, another one of the owners, is currently a Franchise Lawyer. The third owner, also a lawyer, will participate as a silent partner.

The three men met through a professional networking association almost 10 years ago and have since become good friends. Krueger, looking to move on from his job to pursue business ownership this past spring, approached Kent for advice. With intimate exposure to over 100 franchise brands over his career, Kent was able to provide Krueger with and insider’s perspective of the industry. “I reached out to Tom initially for his advice and to see if he could recommend a brand he trusted,” said Krueger. “Little did I know he was simultaneously pursuing business ownership himself. He had been considering a Window Genie franchise, and recommended I look into their model myself. After we pulled in the third partner, we quickly decided on a partnership vs. branching out individually. We each bring something different to the table, so rather than stepping on each other’s toes and dividing up the territory, we’re hoping that 1 plus 1 plus 1 can equal 5.”

Window Genie of Malvern officially opens for business on Monday September 19th, but will celebrate their opening week in a unique way. Window Genie of Malvern will host their grand opening event at Paradise Farm Camps in Downingtown from 5:00pm – 7:00pm on Friday September 23rd. Food and beer will be served, and live music will be played. Window Genie will be at the camp all day prior to the event offering a free window cleaning as their way to showcase their team while providing a much needed service to the camp.
