Wanted Man Arrested After Fight At West Chester Kildare's: Cop

A man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested after a fight at Kildare's in West Chester, police said.

WEST CHESTER, PA — A man wanted on multiple warrants was arrested after a recent fight at Kildare's in West Chester, police said on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Dec. 6 at around 2:04 a.m. in front of the bar, which is on the 50 block of W. Gay Street.

Eric Knight, 27, of Coatesville, punched a victim for unknown reasons, police said.

Police took him into custody, and when they tried to identify him, he repeatedly gave them false names and false dates of birth, according to authorities.

Police later used his fingerprints to identify him, and discover that he had outstanding warrants for his arrest in both Chester and Lancaster counties. Details of those warrants were not immediately available.

He now faces additional charges of false identification and harassment.

He has previously been convicted of indecent assault, harassment, flight to avoid apprehension, and related counts, court documents show.

A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
