West Chester Advances To Elite Eight Of 'March Madness' of Chester County

The Elite Eight has been established in the Best of Chester County tournament.

Phoenixville fell to Malvern in the round of 32, and Malvern then promptly fell to Downingtown in the Sweet 16, eliminating the local connection.

Tredyffrin had already lost in the opening round to E. Caln.

The local teams still remaining in the Elite Eight include West Whiteland, West Goshen, and West Chester.

The matchups leading to the Final Four are as follows:

• Downingtown v. West Chester
• E. Brandywine v. Upper Uwchlan
• W. Bradford v. Kennett
• W. Whiteland v. W. Goshen
