Between 10 – 10:15 AM on Friday October 9, 2020 the University will conduct a test on components of the Emergency Alert System, specifically mass emails, website posting, digital signage, text messages and the external notification system. In an emergency, the University will communicate key emergency information as quickly and to as many people as possible. The official source for continuously updated emergency information, directions and instructions is the WCU homepage http://www.wcupa.edu (Helpful hint – Use the “Refresh” button to be certain the latest information is available.)

To receive emergency notification text messages, register for WCU ALERT HERE. WCU ALERT is West Chester University's free emergency notification system which sends text messages to cell phones (SMS), wireless PDAs and e-mail addresses.
