West Chester To Hold Vigil After Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting
The West Chester community will gather to honor the 11 lives lost during a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue Saturday.

WEST CHESTER, PA — The West Chester community will gather to honor the 11 lives lost during a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue Saturday.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at the steps in front of West Chester University's Sykes Student Union.
The gunman, Robert G. Bowers, 46, of Pittsburhg walked into the Tree of Life Synongue with an AR-15 and three Glock handguns, a federal complaint states. KDKA reported he yelled "All Jews must die" when he started the massacre. At one point, he flat-out told an officer ,"I just want to kill Jews," according to the complaint.

The 11 dead range in age from 54 to 97, and the six wounded include four police officers who rushed to the scene.
The vigil is being organized by West Chester University Hillel.
