West Chester Police Searching For Robbery Suspect

The suspect is accused of robbing a store in the 100 block of East Market Street and fleeing with over $1000.

WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester Police are investigating a robbery that took place Thursday at 3:34 p.m. at a store in the 100 block of East Market Street.

According to West Chester police, The robbery suspect entered the store and demanded money from the store owner.

The suspect wrestled with the victim for a short time before fleeing the store with over $1,000.

The suspect is described as a Black male 5 foot 7 inches, medium build, last seen wearing a black hoodie, pants turned inside out and Timberland boots.
