West Chester University has donated $50,000 to Fame Fire Company.

WEST CHESTER, PA -- West Chester University announced a major donation of $50,000 to Fame Fire Company last week.
The donation will go towards the local fire company's $2.5 million capital campaign. That campaign's goal is to raise enough money to build a storage facility for a large aerial truck used in fires at tall buildings.
Fame is headquartered on 200 Rosedale Avenue in the borough and responds to calls on campus and in the surrounding area.
