West Chester University Goes Back to School with Xfinity On Campus

This semester, residential students at West Chester University will have free access to stream TV shows and movies on their devices with Xfinity On Campus, a service that lets college students watch live TV and On Demand content on their IP-enabled devices including laptops, tablets and smartphones while on campus.

In addition to West Chester University, three other area schools - including the University of Pennsylvania, Temple University and Villanova University - launched Xfinity On Campus this year. That's in addition to the University of Delaware, Drexel University and Rider University that were already signed on.

This year, the service also includes a cloud DVR at no additional cost, allowing students to record up to 20 hours of shows.

In total this year, 36 new schools signed on for Xfinity on Campus, more than eight times the number in 2014 when the service launched, bringing the total to 60 Xfinity on Campus locations across the country.
