Exton Barricade Situation Resolved: West Whiteland Twp. Police
A burglary call Monday morning ended in a barricade and negotiation with a "possibly" naked man, said West Whiteland Township Police.
WEST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP — West Whiteland Township Police successfully negotiated a barricade situation this morning in Exton and report no danger to the community.
West Whiteland Police officers were dispatched Monday morning to the 100 block of Whiteland Hills Circle for a reported burglary, according to a police report. An alarm reportedly went off at 4:33 a.m.
Officers arrived on the scene to find a 36-year-old man who was wearing "little, and possibly no, clothing," a police report said.

The West Chester Regional Emergency Response Team came to assist, West Whiteland Township Police said.
The man had barricaded himself in a room but came out around 6:15 a.m. without incident, a police report said. Police said the man have been there since late Sunday night.

Charges have not been reported.
There is no reason to believe that the community is in any danger, police said.
