2 Stolen Vehicles, Illegal Fireworks Discharge Top Morrisville Crimes

The Morrisville Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

MORRISVILLE, PA —Two vehicles were stolen, another three were recovered and a prowler was spotted on West Philadelphia Avenue along with an illegal fireworks discharge.

Those were some of the criminal incidents reported by the Morrisville Police Department that were released in the police blotter for the period of May 23 and June 5.

Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 23, 8:27 a.m. Report of a vehicle’s glove box and center console rummaged through but nothing was taken during the overnight hours on West Franklin Street.

Motor Vehicle Theft —May 24, 8:38 a.m. Report of a Toyota Highlander stolen overnight from Plaza Boulevard. The spare key was in the victim’s other vehicle. The vehicle was recovered by Trenton Police Department on May 25. Value: $25,000.

Arrest/Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, Loitering, and Prowling —May 25, 3:27 a.m. A 36-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested for the above charges for an incident that occurred on West Philadelphia Avenue. He was sent to Buck’s County Prison.

Recovered Stolen Motor Vehicles —May 25. Three vehicles (Chevrolet Impala, Subaru Outback and Toyota Highlander) that were stolen over the past week have been recovered by Trenton Police and the victims were notified.

Arrest/Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness —May 25, 7:23 p.m. A 41-year-old man was cited for an incident on Center Street.

Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 25, 8:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Report of two vehicles entered overnight at an apartment complex on Lincoln Avenue. Wallets were taken from both vehicles that contained cash and cards. Value: $150.

Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 26, 9:33 a.m. Report of a purse containing cash and cards was stolen from a vehicle overnight on Osborne Avenue. Value: $100.

Arrest/DUI —May 26, 10:16 p.m. A 35-year-old woman was arrested for driving under the influence following a hit-and-run that occurred on the Trenton side of the Trenton Makes Bridge. She was released pending a summons.

Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 28, 4:56 p.m. Report of a Ruger gun stolen overnight from a vehicle on Doloro Drive. Value: $400.

Arrest/Fireworks Ordinance —May 28, 9:32 p.m. A 51-year-old man was cited for discharging fireworks within 150 feet of a building.

Arrest/Curfew for Minor Ordinance —May 29, 1:05 p.m. A female juvenile was cited for being out after hours on Doloro Drive.

Arrest/Public Drunkenness —May 29, 2:27 a.m. A 41-year-old man was cited for public drunkenness for an incident that occurred on South Pennsylvania Avenue.

Arrest/Aggravated Assault —May 30, 3:17 p.m. A female juvenile was charged with aggravated assault and other related charges for an incident that occurred on North Lafayette and Hillcrest Avenues. She was sent to Juvenile Detention.

Theft —May 30, 5:40 p.m. Report of a package stolen from a front porch on Central Avenue. Value: $30.

Arrest/Simple Assault —May 30, 3:17 p.m. A female juvenile was charged with simple assault and other related charges for an incident that occurred on North Lafayette and Hillcrest Avenues. She was sent to Juvenile Detention.

Theft —May 30, 5:40 p.m. Report of a package stolen from a front porch on Central Avenue. Value: $30.

Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 31, 8:22 a.m. Report of a vehicle entered overnight and rummaged through on Crown Street. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Theft from Motor Vehicle —May 31, 10:27 a.m. Report of an unlocked vehicle entered and rummaged through on Hillcrest Avenue. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Arrest/Warrant —May 31, 10:21 p.m. A 46-year-old man was arrested for a warrant from Bucks County during a traffic stop on West Bridge Street and North Harding Avenue. He was released to the Sheriff's Office.

Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 3, 5:36 a.m. Report of $10 stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Bank Street.

Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 3, 10:30 a.m. A report of an unlocked vehicle on Hamilton Boulevard entered and but nothing was taken.

Motor Vehicle Theft —June 3, 12:44 p.m. Report of a Mazda MX6 stolen from Woodland Avenue overnight. The vehicle was unlocked and the key was inside. Value: $8,000.

Arrest/Harassment —June 3, 1:36 p.m. A 42-year-old woman was cited for harassment for a domestic incident that occurred on West Bridge Street.

Arrest/Public Drunkenness —June 4, 3:42 a.m. A 34-year-old man was cited for public drunkenness for an incident that occurred on Plaza Boulevard.

Retail Theft —June 5, 6:27 p.m. Report of items stolen from the Giant Grocery Store on West Trenton Avenue.
