$4,000 Catalytic Converter, Snacks Thefts Top Morrisville Crimes

The Morrisville Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville Borough Police Department reported its blotter of criminal incidents for the period of April 4 through April 17.

These are the incidents:

Arrest/Scattered Rubbish —April 4, 2:21 a.m., A 41-year-old was cited after illegally dumping waste in a private dumpster at Americana Apartments.

Arrest/Simple Assault —April 5, 2:48 a.m., A 56-year-old man was charged with simple assault for an incident that occurred on North Pennsylvania Ave. He was processed and arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest/Warrant —April 6, 10:52 p.m., A 38-year-old man was arrested for a warrant from Philadelphia Probation during a traffic stop on West Trenton Avenue. He was sent to Bucks County Prison.

Retail Theft —April 8, 2 p.m., Report of stolen snack foods from Giant Grocery Store by a woman wearing sunglasses and a dark hoodie over her head. She fled in a black Kia toward Trenton. Value: $150.

Arrest/Simple Assault/Possession —April 8, 7:03 p.m., A juvenile female was charged with simple assault, possession, and other related charges after driving through the borough with two men who were shooting an Orbeez gun at a person.

Arrest/Disorderly Conduct/Public Drunkenness —April 9, 6:17 a.m., A 33-year-old was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for an incident on Plaza Boulevard.

Retail Theft —April 10, 10:40 a.m., Report of designer sunglasses stolen from Design for Vision by a woman wearing a surgical mask, sunglasses, and a wig. She fled with a man in an unknown direction. Value: $2,400

Arrest/Drug Possession —April 10, 8:59 p.m., A 36-year-old man was charged with possession during a traffic stop on North Delmorr and East Trenton Avenues. He was processed and released pending summons.

Arrest/Possession —April 11, 8:29 p.m., A 37-year-old man was charged with drug possession and a warrant arrest by the Bucks County Sheriffs during a traffic stop on South Delmorr and E. Philadelphia Avenues. He was processed and released to the Sheriffs.

Arrest/Criminal Mischief —April 12, 7:15 a.m., Two men and a 17-year-old juvenile male were cited for criminal mischief for an incident that occurred on March 29 on Melvin Avenue.

Theft —April 12, 9 a.m., Report of a catalytic converter stolen from a Ford Pickup Truck on W. Bridge Street. Value: $4,000

Warrant/Retail Theft —April 12, 1:34 p.m., A warrant was issued for a 44-year-old man for stealing seafood at the Giant Food Store on West Trenton Avenue on March 25. Value: $180

Arrest/Trespassing —April 12, 2:50 p.m., A 52-year-old woman will be cited for trespassing for an incident on West Philadelphia Avenue.

Arrest/DUI —April 12, 8:28 p.m. A 42-year-old woman was charged with Driving Under the Influence during a traffic stop on East Bridge and Washington streets. She was processed and released.

Arrest/False Communications —April 13, 4:18 a.m. A 42-year-old will receive a summons for making false reports and communications to 911 for incidents that occurred on North Delmorr Avenue.

Arrest/Warrant —April 13, 11 a.m. A 39-year-old man was taken into custody at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility by our officer for a warrant from this department and transported to Bucks County Prison.

Arrest/Assist Other Agencies —April 13, 2:22 p.m. This department assisted the Bucks County Detectives Drug Strike Force in the arrest of a 32-year-old man for the delivery of a controlled substance. The incident occurred on North Pennsylvania Avenue.
