$7K In Cash Stolen In Burglary Top Lower Makefield Twp. Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department Friday released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Police reported a burglary in which $7,000 in cash was stolen from a home. In another incident, a safe containing $3,000 was taken.

Sept. 20
ATTEMPTED RETAIL THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Kohl’s, reported at 2:17 p.m. The complainant reported a man was concealing merchandise in the store. Upon police arrival, the man discarded the items and left the store. Loss Prevention declined to press charges.

Sept. 19
THEFT FROM VEHICLE —1000 block of Big Oak Road, reported at 10:07 a.m. The complainant reported sometime overnight, an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a wallet.
THEFT —500 block of Wren Song Road, reported at 9:30 p.m. The complainant reported the theft
of a safe containing $3,000 from the residence.

IDENTITY THEFT —Unit block of South Drive, reported at 1:02 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened a T-Mobile account in their name and charged $3,501.
Sept. 17
DUI ARREST —200 block of Oxford Valley Road, reported at 7:30 p.m. Police on patrol observed a disabled vehicle at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 52-year-old male driver from Philadelphia for Driving Under the Influence.
Sept. 15
THEFT —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Carlucci’s Restaurant, reported at 6:33 p.m. The complainant reported three unknown individuals dined in the outdoor seating area and left without paying their $136.74 bill. An investigation is ongoing.
BURGLARY —800 block of Henry Drive, reported at 7 p.m. Police responded to the report of a burglary at the location. Further investigation revealed the home’s alarm panel was ripped off the wall and forced entry via a rear window. Victims reported several handbags and $7,000 in cash was missing. The investigation is ongoing.
