Crack Cocaine, Heroin Found In Lower Bucks Traffic Stop

Lower Makefield Township Police said a Morrisville man also had four jars of marijuana after being pulled over on Route 1 last week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A Morrisville man is in custody after police found four jars of marijuana and 44 bags of crack cocaine during a traffic stop last week, police said.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department said it made a traffic stop of a vehicle on Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road at 5:32 p.m. on June 19.

Police on patrol received an LPR hit for a man who had an active warrant for Unlawful Possession of a Handgun out of Trenton, N.J.

During the traffic stop, police found four glass jars containing marijuana, two small scales, one box of 100 hypodermic needles, hundreds of small Ziploc bags, a razor blade, one box of sandwich bags, and 44 small bags containing crack cocaine in the vehicle.

Police also found 14 white packets containing heroin/fentanyl and $222.

The 37-year-old man was charged with Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver,Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession of heroin/fentanyl, Use/Possession of DrugParaphernalia, Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession of crack cocaine, Delivery/Intent toDeliver Drug Paraphernalia and related charges.

He was arraigned by District Justice Christopher O’Neil and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility where he is being held on $200,000 bail with 10 percent.
