Don't Be A Pest Soliciting in Lower Makefield: Police

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — There's a pest in the township that deals with pests.

Lower Makefield Township Police are alerting residents to beware of solicitors without permits for EcoShield Pest Solutions.

Police advised that the employees are not authorized to solicit in the township. They say residents have complained that they're being bugged by aggressive sales tactics.

Several employees were cited for failing to obtain permits, police said. Despite that, police said they've even returned to the area after being told to leave and cited.

Anyone who appears in a neighborhood soliciting for EcoShield should contact police immediately at 215-493-4011.

Police also seek a physical description along with the last known direction of travel.
