Federal Warrant Scam, Stolen Vehicle Arrest: Lower Makefield Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A federal warrant scam and motor vehicle theft highlighted some of the criminal incidents released in the Lower Makefield Township Police Department's blotter for the past week.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT —700 block of Grange Drive, reported at 10:35 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of their 2021 Infiniti Q50 from their driveway sometime overnight. A LoJack system located the vehicle in Philadelphia, where it was recovered by police. The investigation is ongoing.

THEFT —900 block of Countess Drive, reported at 9:15 a.m. The complainant reported that an unknown man stole a bicycle from the sidewalk. The incident was captured on a surveillance camera. The bicycle was later found on Facebook Marketplace. Contact was made with the seller, and it was determined they believed the bike to be trash since it was on the curb and returned it to police.
FRAUD —1000 block of Creamery Road, reported at 3:07 p.m. The complainant reported receiving a phone call from someone claiming to be with Bucks County Courthouse, stating they had a federal warrant for their arrest. The complainant recognized this as a scam and disconnected the call, which was spoofed to appear to be coming from the actual Courthouse.

STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST —Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 8:10 p.m. Police on patrol received an LPR hit for a stolen vehicle at the location. A felony car stop was conducted and the 33-year-old Trenton, N.J. man was taken into police custody for receiving stolen property and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was arraigned by District Justice Snow and sent to BCCF in place of $50,000 with 10 percent bail.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —3100 block of Danbury Court, reported at 12:30 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) broke their passenger side window. Nothing was reported missing at this time.
Nov. 24
CREDIT CARD FRAUD —300 block of Ramsey Road, reported at 12:20 p.m. The complainant reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $937.71.
Nov. 22
FRAUD —1100 Edgewood Road, reported at 10:08 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown
person(s) intercepted a mailed check, altered it, and cashed it.
THEFT —Unit block of Moon Circle, reported at 2:35 p.m. The complainant reported being sent
a refund check from the IRS in February that was never received but had their signature on it.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD —400 block of Robbins Court, reported at 4:11 p.m. The complainant
reported an unauthorized use of their credit card for $431.95.
