Fraud Victim Receiving Threats In Lower Makefield Twp.
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department Friday released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A catalytic converter was stolen. And a fraud victim was also receiving threats after reporting the crime as a scam to police.

Feb. 1
FRAUD —600 block of Pevsner Road, reported at 10:44 a.m. The complainant reported becoming the victim of an online investment fraud scheme in December. Since realizing it was a scam, the victim is receiving threats.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE —3200 block of Sterling Road, reported at 8:10 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of a catalytic converter sometime in the past week.
Jan. 31
IDENTITY THEFT —1100 block of Lily Pond Lane, reported at 10:06 a.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) received a credit card bill for $933.80 that they did not charge. The suspect used the victim’s identification for the purchase.
ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE —Unit block of West Ferry Road, reported at 8:03 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown man tried to open their vehicle before they chased him away.

DUI ARREST —Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 1:39 a.m. Police responded to the report of a two-vehicle accident at the location where the striking vehicle caught fire. A woman, 27, from Levittown was taken into police custody for Driving Under the Influence.
Jan. 29
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —1700 block of Cornerstone Drive, reported at 8:07 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) removed their windshield wiper and splashed an unknown substance on their vehicle.
Jan. 26
STOLEN VEHICLE ARREST —Oxford Valley Road and Route 1, reported at 11:02 a.m. The License Plate Reader alerted police to a stolen vehicle in the area. A felony car stop was conducted and the 33-year-old Philadelphia woman was taken into police custody for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Receiving Stolen Property. She was arraigned and released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.
