Grey Nun Break-In, Credit Card Fraud Top Lower Makefield Twp. Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A break-in at the former Grey Nun Academy took place but vandals did not cause any damage once alarms went off and they fled.
That was among the criminal incidents for the past week in the Lower Makefield Township Police Department's blotter released Friday.

Sept. 7
THEFT —700 block of Stony Hill Rd. at Giant, reported at 9 a.m. The complainant reported the theft of a wallet from a purse while shopping. Suspects were captured on store surveillance. They used a credit card at Walmart and Target and charged $1,724.90. The investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 5
FRAUD —600 block of Tomlinson Lane, reported at 3:02 p.m. The complainant reported while
attempting to obtain a duplicate vehicle title, they were advised there was still a lien on the vehicle even though it was paid off.
Sept. 2
RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY ARREST —Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road, reported at 10:57 a.m. Police received an LPR hit on a vehicle in the area. Further investigation revealed the license plate on the vehicle was stolen. The 29-year-old male driver from Philadelphia was arrested for receiving stolen property.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS —1700 block of Quarry Road at Grey Nun Academy, reported at 4:13 p.m. Police responded to the report of an alarm activation at the location. Surveillance footage showed three individuals in the building, who fled when the alarm sounded.
THEFT FROM VEHICLE —100 block of Elm Ave. reported at 6:05 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed $10 worth of coins.
ATTEMPTED THEFT FROM VEHICLE —100 block of Elm Avenue, reported at 6:30 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through it. Nothing was reported missing at the time.
