LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —A large crucifix has been stolen in a burglary at the former Grey Nun Academy, an incident which may be tied to an alarm activation at the closed facility last week.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported that video surveillance shows three individuals leaving the building on the 1700 block of Quarry Road at 3:44 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, with a large crucifix.
