Longtime Morrisville Councilwoman Defeated: Unofficial Results
Morrisville Councilwoman Nancy Sherlock lost her re-election bid in Tuesday's election. She has served a combined nearly three decades.

MORRISVILLE / LOWER MAKEFIELD TWP., PA —Morrisville Borough Councilwoman Nancy Sherlock —with nearly three decades in borough government —was defeated in unofficial results from Tuesday's general election.
Sherlock, a Democrat, first served 25 years on the Borough Council. Her second stint, which will now end Dec. 31, lasted four years.
With 100 percent of Bucks County's 306 precincts reporting, Sherlock received 249 votes for one of two 2nd Ward Council four-year terms.

Republican Scott Robinson was re-elected with 307 votes. Democratic/Republican Melissa Johnson garnered 337 votes.
In the 4th Ward, Democrat Robert Perry got 299 votes to beat Republican Luke McKee for one, two-year term. McKee also lost in his quest for one, four-year council term in the 4th Ward, receiving 142 votes. Democrat Marie T. Kelso garnered 298 votes to win the seat.

Democrat John Vitarelli Jr. was unopposed for election to a four-year term in the 3rd Ward.
Meanwhile, in Lower Makefield Township, Supervisor Daniel Grenier won re-election along with Matthew Ross, a former Yardley Borough Councilman who was running as a Democrat.
Grenier, who is also a Democrat, received 7,215 votes while Ross garnered 7,265 votes for two, six-year terms. They defeated Republican Allen DePuy, who got 4,874 votes.
Voter turnout in Bucks County was 42.4 percent.
