Man Brandished Knife In Yardley Assault: Police
A Morrisville man was charged with criminal trespass, simple assault, harassment and DUI in South Main Street incident in Yardley last week.

YARDLEY, PA —A Morrisville man has been arrested for assault, trespass and DUI for an incident that took place early Wednesday morning, police said.
The unnamed 54-year-old suspect was charged with criminal Trespass, possessing instruments of a crime, simple assault, harassment and DUI offenses for an incident that happened at 3:02 a.m. Sept. 21 in the 80 block of South Main Street, Police Chief Joseph Kelly III said.
The charges stem from last Wednesday when a borough police officer —assisted by officers from Lower Makefield Township —investigated a disturbance. They learned that one of the men known to police had left the scene.

Kelly said officers discovered through their investigation that the man who fled had been involved in an assault and possibly used a small knife.
The suspect was located near his Morrisville home and was taken into custody.

He is being held in Bucks County Prison with bail set at 10% of $100,000, Kelly said.
