Morrisville Apartment Killings: Mom, Daughter Showed Love Online
On Facebook, the accused mother and daughter expressed love for each other and the family members they are charged with killing.

MORRISVILLE, PA — Hours after the bodies of five family members were discovered in an apartment in Morrisville, social media was providing a glimpse Tuesday into the lives of the mother and daughter accused of killing their relatives, including three children.
Shana Decree, 45, and her 19-year-old daughter, Dominique Decree, are each charged with five counts of homicide and one count of conspiracy, Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said late Monday.

In public Facebook posts, Shana Decree referred to Dominique as "my baby" while Dominique celebrated her "beautiful mother" and expressed love for a sister she now stands accused of killing.
The victims were identified by authorities as Shana Decree's children, Naa'Irah Smith, 25, and Damon Decree Jr., 13, both of Morrisville, Shana Decree's sister, Jamilla Campbell, 42, of Trenton, NJ, and Campbell's 9-year-old twin daughters, Imani and Erika Allen.

According to her Facebook profile, Shana Decree studied at Mercer County Community College and went to Trenton Central High School.
In June 2015, she posted a graduation photo of Dominique Decree, sounding for all the world like any proud mother.
"My baby spent most of her senior year in and out of the hospital with me," she wrote. "She finished high school online. I'm so proud of her because she graduated, she did it. My baby wouldn't leave my side. I am so blessed to have her as a daughter."
Earlier, she posted in image that appears to show Jesus carrying a woman in his arms while walking along a beach.
Dominique Decree was similarly active on Facebook, with most of her public posts appearing to be selfies and photos with friends. Her profile lists her as a native of Trenton and having studied at Morrisville Middle/Senior High School.
She posted last year about needing a new job, shared memes about boyfriends and complained about the everyday difficulties of life in ways that most parents of teens would recognize.
In February 2017, she wished a happy birthday to her sister, Naa'Irah Smith, one of the victims discovered dead Monday night, calling her "my sister, my rod, my best friend and all that good stuff."
In 2016, she celebrated her sister moving into her first apartment in another post. "I can't even explain how proud I am of her and how much of a role model she's been to me throughout the years," Dominique wrote. "I love you sissy. You're gonna do great things in your life."
And, earlier that year, she addressed a Mother's Day post to "my beautiful mother."
By Tuesday morning, many of Dominique's public posts had been loaded up with replies from the past few hours — many of them angry and insulting.
Authorities had not said early Tuesday how the victims died and no motive for the crimes was revealed. The investigation is ongoing by Morrisville Borough Police and Bucks County Detectives.
"This is a terrible tragedy," said District Attorney Matthew Weintraub. "The people who committed these atrocious acts are in custody."
