Anderson would not provide details when asked when the accident took place and what happened regarding the incident.

The Bucks County Courier Times reported that the accident was an alleged hit-and-run.

A search by Patch of the borough's police blotters since January did not find the accident or the mayor's name.

As mayor, Anderson oversees the borough’s police department.

Patch placed calls to Borough Manager Judith Demko, Council President Robert Paul, Council Vice President Helen Hlahol, and Councilman Scott Robinson seeking comment.
