No-Pants Driver, Sexual Assault Arrest Top Lower Makefield Twp. Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department Friday released its blotter of criminal incidents.

Sept. 14

WANTED PERSON —Heacock Road and Covington Road, reported at 1:15 p.m. Police on patrol stopped a vehicle for violations. A records check revealed the 19-year-old male driver from Ewing, N.J. was wanted out of New Jersey for a weapons offense. He was taken into police custody.

Sept. 13

IDENTITY THEFT:
  • 1100 block of Irving Road, reported at 11:14 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened a credit card in their name.
  • 11000 block of Cornerstone Drive, reported at 5:13 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) opened a credit card in their name.

SOLICITORS —1000 block of Elbow Lane, reported at 2:58 p.m. The complainant reported that solicitors for Coast 2 Coast Subscriptions LLC soliciting without permits. They were advised to cease soliciting until permits were obtained.

Sept. 11

WANTED PERSON —1300 Big Oak Road at Five Mile Woods, reported at 1:12 p.m. Police received notification that a subject wanted out of Ewing, N.J., for sexual assault was pinging in the area of Big Oak Road and Stony Hill Road. Police located the suspect's vehicle parked at Five Mile Woods. Upon approaching the vehicle, the man was unconscious, but breathing with obvious self-inflicted trauma to the wrists. He was taken into police custody and transported to the hospital. Once medically cleared for incarceration, the 35-year-old male from Ewing, N.J., was transported to police headquarters, processed, and arraigned. He was sent to BCP in lieu of $250,000 with 10 percent bail.

DUI ARREST —1600 block of Big Oak Road in the Shop Rite parking lot reported at 10:08 p.m. Police on patrol observed a vehicle parked in the lot after hours. Upon checking on the driver, he was not wearing pants and had urinated himself. Further investigation led to the 28-year-old male driver from Hastings, FL. for driving under the influence.

Sept. 10

DUI ARREST —800 block of Roelofs Road, reported at 4:19 a.m. Police on patrol responded to the report of a running vehicle, parked in the middle of the roadway. Upon police arrival, the male driver was asleep at the wheel. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 60-year-old township male driver for driving under the influence.

Sept. 8

FRAUD —400 block of Liberty Drive, reported at 4:15 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown
person(s) stole about $855 worth of airline points from their account.

DUI ARREST —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Santander Bank, reported at 5:23 p.m. Police responded to the report of a male, with his pants to his ankles, urinating, and hanging onto his truck at the drive-thru ATM machine. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 67-year-old male driver from Yardley Borough for driving under the influence.
