Police Seeking Missing Lower Makefield Man

His mother last saw him when she left for a business trip in early June and his phone has pinged in New York City, police say.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Makefield are searching for a man who has been missing since early June.

Myles Lightner, 22, was last seen by his mother on June 1 when she left on a business trip, police say. When she returned on June 8, there was a note left for her reading, "I need to go away for a little while. Be back in a bit."

According to police, Lightner has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and anxiety. He has previously threatened suicide, according to police, and failed to show up for a court date in Florham Park, N.J., on June 5.

A ping on Lightner's phone showed it was last active on June 12 at Central Park Zoo in New York City.

Lightner is described as a black male, standing 5'11" and weighing about 220 pounds.

According to police he has two known addresses, on Kathy Drive at a Yardley address and another address in Trenton.
