Quality Inn Fraud, High School Assault Top Morrisville Crimes

The Morrisville Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

MORRISVILLE, PA —A man posing as a relative of one of the owners of the Quality Inn sought money from the night-shift manager to pay for a fire inspection.

But that call turned out to be a scam, the Morrisville Police Department said.

The fraud call took place at 7:21 a.m. March 31. The night-shift manager said the man had claimed that a fire inspection was being done that day and requested money to be sent to him through Western Union from the manager’s personal bank and also to use the Bitcoin ATM to send money.
