The Yardley-based Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has released a video touting its five-year project, completed last October.

YARDLEY, PA — The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission has posted a new video that capsulizes the award-winning Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project’s five-year construction process.

The video includes footage of the former bridge’s traffic congestion issues, informational

Individuals appearing in the film include engineers, project managers, and executives of the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, which owns and operates the resulting marquee project element —the dual-structure Scudder Falls Toll Bridge, which carries Interstate 295 drivers across the Delaware River between Ewing, N.J., and Lower Makefield Township.
The video also includes footage from the ribbon-cutting of the bridge’s shared-use walkway in November 2022 and ninth-generation Scudder-family descendant Anne Scudder Smith cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
The video was produced by Stokes Creative Group, a sub-consultant to the bridge's
designers, Michael Baker International, Inc.
A unique aspect of this film is comparison footage of the former bridge carrying traffic during project construction and the new replacement bridge in service after the project reached its substantial completion milestone in late 2021.
