Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman saw it too and took the snapshot after last Saturday evening's rain gave way to a beautiful double rainbow.
Friedman and his wife Cynthia drove to the Yardley Veteran's Square Monument (five minutes away), hoping that the rainbow would not disappear by the time we arrived.

As we drove on Edgewood Road, Cynthia kept looking back to see if it was still there, as rainbows often last only a few minutes.
We were lucky, and the complete rainbow was still bright and beautiful for quite a while.
Friedman said he tried to position himself so that the rainbow completely surrounded the monument.
"I didn't have an umbrella, so Cynthia held a grocery bag over my camera so the light rain would not get on my lens," he said.
For photography enthusiasts, this is an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph from three exposures that he blended together.
