State Rep. Warren Discusses Projected Re-Election Victory
State Rep. Perry Warren said he received the most votes of his five campaigns to represent the 31st Legislative District.

YARDLEY, PA —State Rep. Perry Warren has released a statement about his unofficial re-election victory in the 31st Legislative District.
"Thank You to the voters and residents of Lower Makefield Township, Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, Upper Makefield Township, and Yardley," Warren said. "And, Thank You to all of our supporters, volunteers, poll workers, neighbors, and friends who worked so hard to re-elect Perry Warren for State Representative."
Warren said that when he started running for office in early 2016, he didn't know what to expect, and he started knocking on doors and meeting neighbors throughout the district, listening to concerns and sharing stories about their lives.

Almost nine years later, Warren said he's connected to thousands, "probably tens of thousands," of our residents, beginning with those door knocks, and continuing with community events, milestone celebrations, constituent visits to my district office and the Capitol, participation in organizations, school visits, business openings and chance meetings in our neighborhoods, restaurants and businesses.
"I have enormous pride in, and am grateful for the opportunity to represent, our communities and residents," he said.

During this election cycle and culminating on Tuesday, a record number of voters turned out to vote in the 31st House District.
Warren said his present vote total of 27,538 (to 19,308) is the largest of his five state representative elections.
"I am deeply appreciative of and honored by my neighbors re-electing me to continue representing us in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives," he said.
In this current term, Warren said his bills to establish a flood insurance premium assistance task force, to update and clarify the corporate law statute, and to ensure surplus lines insurance products remain available to Pennsylvanians all were passed and signed into law by Gov. Josh Shapiro.
He worked on the House side along with State Rep. TIna Davis to pass Sen. Steve Santarsiero's Kayden's Law child custody bill, which after being signed into law by Shapiro is protecting children throughout Pennsylvania.
"My universal background check for firearm sales and my plastic water bottle waste reduction bills passed in the House, and I look forward to another opportunity to move those bills to votes in the Senate," Warren said.
Warren said he began this term as Vice-Chair of the House Insurance Committee, Secretary of the House Commerce Committee and the House Government Oversight Committee, and as a Member of the House Transportation Committee and the House Judiciary Committee, and on each committee had the opportunity to vet and pass good legislation.
On Sept. 30, Speaker Joanna McClinton appointed Warren as Chairman of the House Human Services Committee, "and I have dived into the human services field, which serves and improves the lives of so many of our family members, friends, and neighbors."
