Stolen Kia, Homicide Arrest Top Morrisville Crime News
The Morrisville Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents, including numerous thefts from vehicles.
MORRISVILLE, PA —A car was stolen and police helped out with an arrest of a man wanted for a homicide in Trenton, N.J.
Those were two of the criminal incidents reported by the Morrisville Borough Police Department in its blotter for the period of June 6 to June 26.

Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 8, 9:28 a.m. Report of a Ryobi drill stolen from the back of the vehicle while the owner was vacuuming it. The incident occurred on Market Street. Value: $100.
Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 8, 11:07 a.m. A report of a black bag containing a wallet and personal items was stolen from a vehicle on Carlisle Avenue. Value: $200.

Motor Vehicle Theft —June 8, 7:55 p.m. A report of a Kia Sorento stolen while the owner was in a restaurant picking up takeout food on East Trenton Avenue. The owner left the vehicle running but had possession of his key fob. Value: $8,000.
Theft/Attempted Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 9, 8:05 a.m. A report of four vehicles entered overnight on North Pennsylvania Avenue. Wallets containing money and credit cards were stolen and suspect(s) attempted to use the credit cards at a gas station in Trenton.
Arrest/False Identification/Warrant —June 9, 7:45 p.m. A 33-year-old man was arrested for providing false identification to police and a warrant from Lawrence Township (NJ) following a traffic stop on West Bridge Street. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison.
Arrest/Summons —June 9. A 50-year-old man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injuries that occurred on April 13 at North Delmorr and East Trenton Avenues.
Retail Theft —June 11, Noon. A report of beverages stolen from Dunkin' Donuts on West Bridge Street in the early morning hours. Value: $13.
Arrest/Borough Ordinance —June 16, 5:59 p.m. A 23-year-old woman was cited for scattering rubbish after performing maintenance on a vehicle without the Plaza Carwash owner’s consent.
Arrest/Warrant/Simple Assault —June 17, 9:49 p.m. During a trespassing incident at the 7-11 on South Pennsylvania Avenue, a 35-year-old man was arrested on a Mercer County Sheriff’s Department Warrant and sent to Bucks County Prison. A warrant will also be issued for simple assault and other related charges for the incident.
Arrest/Borough Ordinance —June 17, 10:24 a.m. A 42-year-old man was cited for dogs at large after an incident on Crown Street.
Arrest/Harassment —June 17, 5:55 p.m. A 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were cited for harassment after a domestic incident on Hillcrest Avenue.
Warrant/Simple Assault —June 18, 8:49 a.m. A warrant was issued for a 33-year-old man for simple assault and other related charges for an incident that occurred on East Bridge Street.
Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 18, 9:13 a.m. A report of a credit card stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Hillcrest Avenue.
Arrest/Public Drunkenness —June 19, 9:49 a.m. A 27-year-old man was cited for public drunkenness for an incident on Rennard Lane.
Arrest/Sale of Tobacco Products —June 19. The Department of Health conducted compliance checks for selling tobacco to underage minors. Three businesses were cited.
Theft —June 19, 2:36 p.m. A report of a lawn chair stolen from a backyard overnight on Central Avenue. Value: $20.
Warrant —June 20, 8:45 p.m. A warrant has been issued for a 31-year-old man for a retail theft that occurred at 7-11 on June 11.
Arrest —June 21, 4:51 p.m. A 33-year-old man was arrested by Hamilton Township Police for a warrant from this department for a simple assault that occurred on June 18.
Theft from Motor Vehicle —June 23, 12:25 p.m. A report of a Lulu Lemon bag and wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight on East Palmer Street. Value: $60.
Arrest —June 23, 3 p.m. Morrisville Police assisted the US Marshalls in the arrest of a 36-year-old man wanted for a homicide in Trenton. This incident occurred on Plaza Boulevard. He was processed and sent to Bucks County Prison to await extradition.
Arrest/Public Drunkenness —June 25, 12:28 a.m. A 37-year-old woman was cited for public drunkenness in front of the 7-11 on South Pennsylvania Avenue.
Arrest/Warrant —June 25, 5:04 p.m. A 64-year-old woman was arrested for a Bucks County parole violation warrant after a well-being check on Bridge and South Pennsylvania Avenues. She was processed and released to the Sheriff’s Deputies.
