Stun Gun, Heroin Possession Top Lower Makefield Twp. Crimes
The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its recent blotter of criminal incidents.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —When police responded to Brook Lane late last month, they found a township man wandering around the property just before 1 a.m. The 30-year-old man was then arrested for possessing heroin and a stun gun.
A records check revealed that the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office also wanted him.
That crime was among the recent criminal incidents reported in the Lower Makefield Township Police Department's blotter.

The criminal incidents include:
Burglary —1100 block of University Drive, reported at 7:27 p.m., Feb. 2. Someone entered the residence through a rear door and removed several items of jewelry sometime between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Credit Card Fraud —600 block of Kings Road, reported at 4:29 p.m., Feb. 1. An unauthorized use of a credit card in the amount of $1,377.88.
Retail Theft —1600 block of Big Oak Road at Shop Rite, reported at 8:55 p.m., Feb. 1. Loss Prevention reported a woman attempted to steal a cart full of items. The investigation is ongoing.
Fraud —1000 block of Victory Drive, reported at 12:45 p.m., Jan. 31. A pop-up on their computer that appeared to be Microsoft advising them to contact their security team. This was recognized as a scam and no monetary loss was reported.
Theft —1500 block of Oxford Valley Road at LMT Community Center, reported at 3 p.m. Jan. 31. The complainant reported the theft of iPad sometime during the delivery process.
Attempted Burglary —1500 block of Surry Brook Court, reported at 12:03 p.m., Jan. 30. Damage to a rear door in the form of pry marks. Entry was not gained, and nothing was reported missing.
Theft —Unit block of Hillside Lane, reported at 11:39 p.m., Jan. 30. Theft of three trashcans.
Identity Theft —200 block of Hyde Park Place, reported at 6:25 p.m., Jan. 30. Someone opened a credit card in their name and charged $25,000.
Criminal Mischief —1500 block of Marsha Terrace, reported at 6:09 p.m., Jan. 28. Reported sometime between Jan. 26-28, someone cut the power strip to their outdoor lighting.
Drug Arrest —Unit block of Brook Lane, reported at 12:59 a.m., Jan. 27. Police observed a suspicious man at the location. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 30-year-old Lower Makefield Township man for possession of a stun gun and heroin. A records check revealed that the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office also wanted him.
