'Then And Now' Highlights Yardley Evolution
The Yardley Historical Association will show how borough neighborhoods have changed in a presentation Thursday.

YARDLEY, PA —There's no need to imagine what Yardley was like in the past.
The Yardley Historical Association will set the scene Thursday with its “Yardley Neighborhoods —Then and Now” presentation, an illustrated program about the town’s evolution.
The program takes place at t 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Old Library by Lake Afton, 46 West Afton Ave.

The presentation features photographs taken in the early, mid, and late 1900s. They are matched with images taken early in 2023 from approximately the same vantage points.
"It is eye-opening to realize how much some places have changed and how others have changed so little," Association President Susan Taylor said.

“Yardley Neighborhoods —Then and Now” is free and the public is welcome.
