Trump Political Signs Damaged: Lower Makefield Crimes

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA —Former President Donald Trump won Tuesday's general election to return to the presidency, but some township residents aren't thrilled about that prospect, protesting by damaging political signs for the Republican candidate.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for the past week.

Nov. 6

IDENTITY THEFT —1300 block of Brentwood Road, reported at 11:11 a.m. The complainant reported giving personal information to someone claiming to be from their insurance company.

THEFT:

  • 600 block of Burgundy Place, reported at 12:47 p.m. The complainant reported the theft of their political sign.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE —Unit block of Ridge Road, reported at 9:04 p.m. The complainant reported that an unknown person(s) entered the unlocked vehicle and removed a pair of sunglasses, keys, and an insurance card.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF —100 block of Vernon Lane, reported at 7:46 a.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) swapped their political signs.

THEFT —600 block of Heacock Road at McCaffrey’s Market, reported at 7:26 p.m. The store
manager reported an unknown man and woman committed a gift card scam totaling $760.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:

  • 900 block of Randolph Drive, reported at 2:08 p.m. The complainant reported unknown person(s) damaged their political signs.
  • 1400 block of Clinton Drive, reported at 3:30 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) placed screws in their driveway. Trump signs were on the property.
  • 1500 block of Revere Road, reported at 4:34 p.m. The complainant reported an unknown person(s) placed screws in their driveway. Trump signs were on the lawn.
