Two Pipe Bombs Discovered In Morrisville Home
The Morrisville Borough Police Department recovered the pipe bombs found in the basement of a borough home Thursday.
MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville Police Department recovered two pipe bombs during the search of a borough home Thursday morning, police said.
In a statement from Police Chief George McClay, Morrisville Borough Police responded to a call at 1234 S. Pennsylvania Ave. to meet a resident in regards to suspicious objects found inside the basement.
Upon arrival, police were met by the relative of the home renter who stated that she found what she believed were two pipe bombs.

She told police that she assumed the pipe bombs belonged to a member of the residence who is incarcerated in Philadelphia for a robbery he committed last year, police said.
Inside the home, police officers recovered what appeared to be two PVC pipe bombs which were removed by the Philadelphia Bomb Squad, which had responded to the scene.

Later Thursday morning, Bucks County detectives —with the assistance of Morrisville Police —served a search warrant at the home where various items were recovered and removed.
The alleged pipe bombs will be examined by the bomb squad, the ATF, and the FBI.
There were no injuries and there was no harm to the public.
