Valentine's Day Retail Thief Identified In Morrisville
Morrisville Borough Police said a suspect made off with $285 worth of Valentine's Day merchandise from the Giant Food Store on Tuesday.

MORRISVILLE, PA —Valentine's Day is often a holiday for stealing hearts —not candy.
The day before Valentine's Day, a thief did some holiday shopping at the Giant Food Store at 833 W. Trenton Ave., the Morrisville Borough Police Department said.
On Friday, that suspect was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest, police said.

Police said the man walked into the Giant Food Store around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, grabbed $285.80 worth of Valentine's Day merchandise, and fled.
That's about $100 more than what the average person spends on Valentine's Day, according to the National Retail Federation, which said holiday gifts cost the average person $185.81.

Police did not identify the items that were stolen from the Giant in their press release.
The man has been identified as Xavier M. Fryar, 33. He is being charged with retail theft and an additional charge related to the crime.
