Yardley Voter Guide 2023: Who's On Ballot, Where To Vote
The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Pennsylvania. Check out our voter guide before you cast your ballot in the Yardley area.

YARDLEY, PA —The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 7, and residents of Yardley, Lower Makefield Township, and Morrisville will soon be able to cast their votes for state, county, judicial, local, and school board races.
The election technically has already begun, as mail-in votes have started to return to Lower Bucks County.
For the general election, residents vote for contested and uncontested races.

Who is on the ballot?
Bucks County Coroner
Bucks County will have a new coroner after incumbent Meredith Buck was defeated in the May 16 primary election.

Republican Charles Stockert, a former deputy coroner and police chief, faces Democrat Patti Campi.
Stockert seeks to improve staffing and service while also seeking accreditation for the coroner's office.
Campi is campaigning to share country-specific data regarding the opioid crisis and mental health issues faced by residents of Bucks County.
She defeated Bucks County Coroner in the May 16 primary election for the Democratic party nomination.
Bucks County Commissioner
For County Commissioner, there is also a contested race on the Republican ticket for two seats with Republicans Pamela A. Van Blunk and incumbent Gene DiGirolamo running against Democratic incumbents Robert Harvie and Diane Ellis-Marseglia.
Pennsbury School Board
In Region 1 and Region 3, school board members TR Kannan and Jeannine Delwiche are running unopposed.
Morrisville School Board
David May, Stephanie Schmidt, Donna Getty, Llamar Brockington, and Damon Miller have cross-filed and are unopposed on both party tickets for five, four-year terms.
Yardley Borough Council
For the first time in the borough's history, all seven Borough Council seats are up for election. But all of the Democratic candidates are also unopposed.
Lower Makefield Township Supervisors
Democrats Daniel Grenier and former Yardley Councilman Matthew Ross are running against Republican Allen DePuy for two, six-year terms.
Morrisville Borough Council
- 2nd Ward —Democrat Nancy Sherlock, Republican Scott Robinson, and Melissa Johnson, who is running on both party tickets, are seeking two, four-year terms on Borough Council.
- 3rd Ward —Democrat John Vitarelli Jr. is running unopposed for one, four-year term.
- 4th Ward —Democrat Robert Perry and Republican Luke McKee are vying for one, two-year term on the council. McKee is also running against Democrat Marie T. Kelso for one, four-year term.
When To Vote
Polls will be open for in-person voting from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Drop-Box locations
Lower Bucks County has several absentee/mail-in drop boxes available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Sign and date and declaration on the outer envelope or your vote will not count.
The drop boxes are now available at the following libraries in Bucks County:
- Bensalem branch, Bucks County Free Library
- Free Library of New Hope and Solebury
- Free Library of Northampton Township*
- Perkasie branch, Bucks County Free Library
- Riegelsville Public Library
- Warminster Township Free Library
- Yardley-Makefield branch, Bucks County Free Library
