2 Rhode Island Prisoners Charged With Drug Possession: Cops
The two men were already locked up in the Adult Correctional Institutions when they were arrested, records show.
CRANSTON, RI — Two Rhode Island prisoners were charged with possessing drugs, police said.
Derek Paolucci, 30, and Julio Davila, 29, both were arrested Thursday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Paolucci and Davila were arrested by the state police Adult Correctional Insitutions Investigations Unit, according to the release.

Paolucci has been locked up since June 2025 and Davila has been in custody since November 2023, records show.
