4 States Billing Rhode Island For Blizzard Snow Removal: Report

The four states are billing Rhode Island to an estimated tune of $1.4 million, according to NBC 10.

Four states dug Rhode Island out from under the snow dumped on it by last month's blizzard, and they didn't do it for free, according to an NBC 10 report.

NBC 10 obtained pre-work estimates from the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency that totaled $1,411,889.47.

  • Pennsylvania, $558,512.52.
  • Connecticut, $385,633.08
  • Vermont, $250,226.24
  • Maine, $217,517.63

"The final costs are pending, but Rhode Island is hoping to be reimbursed by the federal government," the NBC 10 story said.
