LINCOLN, RI — A Beastie Boys tribute band plays Rhode Island this weekend.
Rhymin’ N Stealin’ is appearing at Bally's Lincoln casino Saturday.
"Since 2009, this crew has gone beyond the typical tribute act, blending meticulous detail with pure obsession to recreate the Beastie Boys experience with explosive accuracy," the casino said in its promotion of the act.
"From selling out their very first show at the House of Blues Dallas to rocking stages across the globe, Rhymin’ N Stealin’ has built a reputation for authenticity and explosive live performance," according to the casino.
The show is in the Lighthouse Bar at 9 p.m.
"Born from obsession and perfected through years of global performances, Rhymin’ N Stealin’ has blown past the tribute‑band label," according to the casino website. "They recreate the attitude, the energy, the swagger, and the chaos with a level of detail that leaves ordinary cover bands in the dust."
