Expect a rainy start to the weekend in Rhode Island but the sun comes out soon after.
Friday night will be foggy and rainy with a chance of thunderstorms and a low temperature of about 68 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
There will be a chance of showers again Saturday after 3 p.m., but the day will be otherwise sunny, the National Weather Service forecast says.
Saturday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 64 a calm wind coming from the north after midnight.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for a sunny Sunday with a high near 84 degrees, and Sunday night will be mostly clear with the low dropping to 63.
The work week starts with a sunny Monday as the high temperature approaches 81 degrees.
