2 URI Rowers Named to A-10's All-Academic Team

KINGSTON, RI — Two Rhode Island rowers were named to the Atlantic-10 All-Academic team.

Sierra Munroe and Bethany Nordstrom won the A-10 All-Academic honors.each were named to the Atlantic 10's All-Academic team, the league announced on Tuesday morning.

Nordstrom, a senior, has been an A-10 First Team honoree in each of the last three seasons and was an All-Academic team selection in 2025, according to the university.

Munroe, a junior, claimed her first postseason honor making the A-10 team. The Vernon, British Columbia native earned a 4.0 GPA as psychology major.

"Both Munroe and Nordstrom raced on Rhode Island Varsity 8+ boat over the course of the 2026 season, including in both the Atlantic 10 and NCAA Championships," a post on the university website said. "Munroe and Nordstrom helped Rhode Island to its 12th Atlantic 10 crown in May.
