Providence Man Charged With Reckless Driving: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with reckless driving, police said.

Michael Demers, 47, was pulled over and arrested on Interstate 95 in Providence shortly before 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Demers was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
