CT Man Charged With Cheating At Bally's Lincoln Casino: Cops

LINCOLN, RI — A Connecticut man was charged with cheating at Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino, police said.

Sech Chiu, 59, was arrested at the casino on a warrant about 9 p.m. Sept. 18, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Chiu, a resident of Norwich, was charged with casino gaming — cheat to take or collect anything of value, accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, and conspiracy, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of a Gaming Enforcement Unit investigation for incidents which occurred at Bally's Twin River Lincoln Casino Resort between" Aug. 16 and Sept. 1, the release said.

Chiu was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released on a $20,000 personal recognizance bond, according to police.
