Donation Bin For TSA Officers Set Up At TF Green Airport

The TSA officers have been working during the stalemate over Department of Homeland Security funding.

WARWICK, RI — A donation bin for Transportation Security Administration officers has been placed at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.

"TSA employees continue to serve during the government shutdown," reads a post on the airport's Facebook page.

"Their dedication ensures that travel through PVD remains safe, smooth, and secure," the post said. "We are now accepting donations for those who would like to show their appreciation and support."

"Please note no cash (or cash equivalent) donations will be accepted," the post said.
