Roger Williams Park Zoo Celebrates Veterans Day With Food Park Day

PROVIDENCE, RI — Roger Williams Park Zoo is celebrating Veterans Day with Food Truck Day.

"Grab the family and head to Roger Williams Park Zoo for Food Truck Day, a delicious day of fun for all ages!" the zoo said in a media release.

"Savor sweet and savory offerings from a variety of local food trucks stationed throughout the Zoo, enjoy live musical entertainment, and visit your favorite animal residents," the release said. "It’s the perfect way to spend a beautiful fall day exploring everything the Zoo has to offer."

Food Truck Day is included with Zoo admission and free for Roger Williams Park Zoo members. Food is available for purchase.

"In honor of their service, all active and retired United States military veterans with valid military ID will receive 50% off regular daytime Zoo admission for up to four people in their immediate family," the release said.
