Len Cabral joins Bay Spring Folk for a night of expressive storytelling & traditional music

A show for all-ages on Saturday, June 7 when Len Cabral joins Bay Spring Folk for a
night of expressive storytelling and traditional music.

Len Cabral is an internationally-acclaimed storyteller who

has been enchanting audiences with his storytelling performances since

1976.

Len's strong Cape Verdean ancestry comes alive in his exuberant

retelling of original stories  as well as folktales and

stories from around the world. Bay Spring Folk plays "eclectic

folk" with great vocal harmonies and fun instrumental work on fiddle,

guitars, mandolin, bass, harmonica, recorder, weissenborn and egg. They were a
finalist in the Providence Local Band Showcase at the Roots Cultural Center

and were nominated for Best Folk Act and Best Americana Album in Motif

Magazine's 2013 Music Awards. The Providence Journal called their music

"thoughtful and whimsical and fun."
