CRANSTON, RI — A wanted Warren man was apprehended, police said.
Theodore Sears, 21, was arrested Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Adult Correctional Institutions Investigations Unit, the state police said in a media release.
Sears was wanted as a fugitive from justice in Massachusetts on a charge of receiving stolen property, according to the release.
Sears' "arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the ACI Investigations Unit and Records and Identification Unit," the release said.
Sears was arraigned and turned over to the sheriff's department pending extradition, according to the release.
