Today's riddle: What is the difference between black eyed peas and chick peas? 🤔 (Answer below!)
• Which RI town got the most rain in Sunday's storm (providencejournal.com) — Bristol saw the heaviest rainfall in Rhode Island on Sunday, with more than six inches recorded by volunteer weather observers. The storm set a daily rainfall record for the Providence area and caused flash flooding in several nearby communities, while some northern towns saw under an inch. Residents can compare Bristol's totals with other towns using the volunteer network's online maps.
• Morning Garden Walks (providenceonline.com) — Morning Garden Walks at Blithewold in Bristol invite you to explore the property's natural spaces with an environmental educator, enjoying a relaxed stroll focused on nature and local history. The walks run from 9 to 11 a.m., cost $5 for members and $10 for nonmembers, and require advance registration, with space limited to 15 participants of all ages.
