Kudos to the recent Bristol Zoning Board of Review for disallowing a precious metal seeking franchise to nestle its gold-digging roots in Bristol!
Strongly stewarding the anti-franchise ordinance protects the Rockwellian theme that historic Bristol is noted for. Just as importantly, this decision protects our local 'Mom and Pop' small business owners, who may not have the advantage that their globally logoed well googled franchised competitor has – yet they would be competing for the same customer base.
You may disagree, but face facts, Mom and Pop have been the backbone of our community for decades. Why not preserve that for the future generations of Bristol?
