Tickets Available for Obama's Visit to Rhode Island on Halloween
The president will travel to Rhode Island College to speak about policies that help women succeed in the workplace.

Tickets are available for President Obamaās visit to Rhode Island Friday.
The president will travel to Rhode Island College in Providence to speak about policies that help women succeed in the workplace. The event will be held at the Murray Center. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Obama is expected to speak at 11:10 a.m.
The college is offering free tickets to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis.

- For college students, faculty and staff, tickets will be handed out Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Student Union. Every student, faculty and staff member must present a valid Rhode Island College identification.
- For the general public, tickets will be handed out from 4 to 7 p.m. at the RIC Recreation Center off Cole Road.
NECN reported Obama will fly into Rhode Island Thursday night, though it was unclear where he will stay. It will be the first time a sitting president has stayed the night in Rhode Island since John F. Kennedy more than 50 years ago, according to NECN.
The president had been scheduled to speak at the college Oct. 16 but canceled to focus on the Ebola crisis. Tickets that were handed out for that appearance will not be honored Friday. More information can be found here.

Ahead of his visit Friday, Obama endorsed Providence mayoral candidate Jorge Elorza, whoās running against former mayor Buddy Cianci.
