Warren Police Log: 10 Arrests in the Past Week

Monday, Jan. 21

• Alexander G. Kaplan, 27, of Barrington, was arrested around 2:30 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense, on Metacom Avenue. 
• An injured duck was reported around 9:36 a.m. on Child Street.
• Maria A. Marquis, 56, of Providence, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license around 3:42 p.m. on Market Street.
• Christopher J. Robinson, 29, of 82 Water Street, Warren, was arrested around 5:35 p.m. on Water Street on charges of domestic felony assault, two counts of domestic simple assault, domestic vandalism, domestic disorderly conduct and an arrest on affidavit warrant.

Tuesday, Jan. 22

• A caller reportd a suspicious man frequenting the neighborhood of Main and Wood streets.

Wednesday, Jan. 23

• Ricky Champlin, 53, of East Providence, was charged around 9:11 p.m. with driving with a suspended/revoked license in the area of Child Street and Long Lane.

Thursday, Jan. 24

• A fire was reported around 12:34 a.m. on Federal Street. The caller stated that wires in the basement were sparking. A fire engine responded, as did an electrical inspector, who determined the problem was isolated.
• A landlord reported an attempted breaking and entering around 12:56 p.m. on Federal Street.
• Ryan M. Bernier, 22, of 22 Richmond Street in Bristol, was arrested around 4:56 p.m. on Joyce Street and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
• Daniel M. Allen, 29, of 192 Market Street in Warren, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked license following a motor vehicle stop around 5:49 p.m. on Redmond Street.

Friday, Jan. 25

• Jeff Leite, 25, of 29 Hopeworth Avenue in Bristol, was arrested around 2:03 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
• George A. Collazo, 34, of 43 Prospect Street in Bristol, was charged with a Sixth District Court bench warrant around 4:17 p.m. on Main Street and Sowamsett Avenue.

Saturday, Jan. 26

• Steven Santurri, 35, of Providence, and Richard Manual Nunes, 33, of 55 Croade Street Apt. 3 in Warren, were arrested around 4:29 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after a report of a disturbance on Market Street.
• A brush fire was reported around 5:42 p.m. on Reservoir Avenue. It was extinguished.

Sunday, Jan. 27

• A child was treated for a dog bite after an incident at a residence around 2:21 p.m.
• A caller reported that a truck caused damage to the lawn around 8:29 a.m. on Cutler Street.
• A vehicle was reported vandalized around 7:04 p.m. on Metacom Avenue.
